Mohamad Tarhini is an engineer, entrepreneur, and investor who bridges innovation with tangible impact. Over the past two decades, he has worked across the Middle East, Europe, and Latin America, combining technical expertise, strategic advisory, and venture creation to help governments, investors, and startups drive sustainable transformation.

As Founder and Managing Partner of DAIS Group, Mohamad leads an integrated platform that delivers consulting, engineering, and digital solutions across the environment, energy, cities & urban development, and agriculture sectors. Under his leadership, DAIS has supported national institutions and international organizations in advancing sustainability, waste management, resource efficiency, and climate resilience, translating environmental goals into measurable outcomes.

Building on this foundation, Mohamad co-founded NUWA Ventures, a hybrid venture-studio and investment platform that empowers entrepreneurs and investors to scale technology-driven solutions in Agri-Tech, Clean Tech, Health & Wellbeing, and EdTech. Through NUWA Ventures, he is shaping ecosystems where innovation unlocks both economic value and environmental benefit.

Mohamad holds a European Master’s in Project Management of Energy & Environment Engineering from École des Mines (France), KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain), and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from the American University of Beirut. He is a Climate Adaptation Finance Expert, Project Management Professional (PMP), and International Waste Manager (ISWA), and an alumnus of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers and Responsible Leadership programs.
